For the easiest route to the Solitude base, take Village Run. Accessible via Lower Mountain Road, Switchback or even The Shadows, Village Run brings you to Solitude Village on a gentle and wide trail.

Midway, you'll pass by the parking area for all of Okemo's grooming equipment. Early and late in the season, the groomers may track dirt and mud onto the trail here, turning it brown and making it slow, so be careful in this section.
