Trail of the Day

Main Face

🟢 Sachem

Sachem (pronounced say-chum) bears the name of Native American chiefs, following Okemo's original naming scheme.

Starting at the top of the Sachem Quad, it passes through the Trailside condominiums and then some single family homes along Route 66 and Snowbridge Rd. One home at 166 Rimrock Road is on the left side of the trail with no road access in the winter.

The trail has two steeper sections, one after the shuttle stop and another before the Snowbridge tunnel. After the tunnel you may continue all the way down Sachem to its namesake lift or cut over to Zip and get on the Sunburst Six.
