Trail of the Day

South Face

🟢 Catnap

Catnap is the longest trail at Okemo with very little elevation change. It's the primary way to access South Face if you can't take (or don't want to wait for) the Glades Peak Quad. The key is to preserve enough speed when taking the 120 degree turn off Rimrock to keep you going across the long, flat and slightly uphill parts. It's one time when the icier the trail is, the better it is. Small children and boarders will likely need assistance to get there, but once you make it, you'll have all the less-crowded options of South Face.
