The Clock Tower area is where most people start their day at Okemo. The other option is Jackson Gore, but the Clock Tower area has more parking and gets you quicker access to more trails.
There are 4 free parking lots including a small one that fills up quickly across from The Loft restauarant/bar. Signs and attendants will direct you to the closest lots. On busy days, they will open the Blue and Red lots and run shuttle buses to the Clock Tower area.
The Clock Tower lodge has everything you need - a restaurant, a cafe-style food area, a beer garden, a ski shop, rental center and restrooms. If you grab some lunch and it's crowded in the main area, climb the stairs to the second level.
To get some elevation, you can take either the A Quad or B Quad which are right next to each other. There's also the F-10 Carpet for leaners. A cheat code is to take the carpet to the top and then go left to get on the Sachem lift. It's not a fast ride, but it may get you on the mountain faster on busy days. The other lifts are all carpets reserved for kids' ski schools.
Most of the trails of the Clock Tower area are off the A and B Quads and they're an excellent place to get your ski legs. The slopes are gentle and wide. For those more adventurous, you can make a diversion over through the Kettle Brook or Ledgewood condo trails. There's even a small terrain park, Gordon's Garden, halfway up the A Quad line.
Besides Sachem, you can access the trails of the Main Face by going down from the top of the A and B quads to the Sunburst Six or the Black Ridge Triple.
