If you're starting in Jackson Gore, you'll need to take the Coleman Brook Express to get anywhere else. This lift gives you access to Jackson Gore's beginner trails as well the Quantum Six which can be used to cut over to the Main Face. It's the only lower mountain lift serving beginner trails that is also an express lift.

As you wait in line, you'll be tempted by the wafts of sweet smells coming from the nearby Waffle Cabin. Try to resist.

The lift passes over a hole of the disc golf course (open in summer) and then active railroad tracks. A train passes by once or twice a day so if you're really lucky, you'll get to watch it chug along below.

Coleman Brook Express is not to be confused with the Coleman Brook trail which is in Solitude, nowhere near this lift.
